Avon Tuning is an ECU Remapping and Performance Tuning company based in the South West of England with an international network of Authorised Agents. Originally founded in 2010 by the owner and current Technical Director Gareth Jones, Avon Tuning has since grown into a strong team of over 6 dedicated professionals all with a passion for Tuning.
ECU Remapping
Our dedicated team of in-house software calibrators sets Avon Tuning as a key leader in the ECU Remapping and Tuning industry. We offer a truly bespoke service tailored to each individual customer’s needs, ranging from pure performance to fuel economy savings. We develop and test our software in house ensuring quality is kept to the highest of standards. Furthermore, the diverse team of in-house engineers allows all industry sectors to be covered – Automotive, Agricultural, Industrial, Construction and Marine.
Performance Parts
By partnering with some of the very best performance part manufacturers, Avon Tuning is truly a one stop shop for all your performance needs. We can offer supply only to retail and trade customers or we can offer a supply and fit service at our Bristol HQ. From world class exhaust systems, to precision engineered intercoolers – we have a range of upgrade options which will suit the needs of even the most demanding of petrol heads.
Our Facility
We have a 5000 square foot dedicated Tuning premises located in Bristol, England. It is at this location which is home to not only our team of in-house file writers, Technicians and Customer Care team but also boasts a comfortable setting for our retail customers to enjoy whilst work is completed on their vehicle. The workshop is equipped with the latest Dimsport 4wd hydraulically linked Dyno (Rolling Road), capable of testing 2WD and 4WD vehicles up to 1200 BHP. The Dyno is housed within a state-of-the-art sound reducing dyno cell and is fitted with a 15KW cooling fan and a 10KW extraction fan. The impressive cooling and extraction setup ensures the vehicles are kept cool while also removing unwanted exhaust gases thus creating a controlled and safe environment for testing and developing purposes. Furthermore, our Agricultural Tuning division is equipped with a Dimsport mobile tractor Dyno, capable of testing a range of Agricultural vehicles via the PTO.
